Hardware Engineering Manager with direct staff of ( 15- 25) engineers responsible for the design, fabrication, testing and installation of radar and communications structures and mechanisms, including : oversight of subcontactors and material suppliers , preparation of new business proposals for US Government and International customers, cost reviews , employee appraisals, salary planning, project resources and staffing, talent management and mentoring of staff engineers.

As a Project Engineer, overall responsibility for the sensor(s) site selection , design and construction of radar and communication sites for both domestic and international programs, including: site surveys and selection, permitting, planning. scheduling , cost estimates, technical and cost proposals, facilities and site design, site development and construction , antenna towers, equipment buildings, roads, prime and back-up power systems , utilities, preparation of equipment technical specifications, Statement of Work, evaluate and negotiate proposals , support RFQ solicitations, subcontract management of suppliers and construction contractors, and installation of mission electronics equipment. Completed numerous international radar and comunication sites (Middle East, Africa, Far East, Europe, So. America ) , and (25) USCG Sites at the Ports in New York , Houston and New Orleans.Overall responsibility for managing construction and utilities contracts, including: RFQ, terms and conditions, evaluate bids, negotiations, purchase and change orders, monitor cost, schedule and technical performance of subcontractors.• Provided Subcontract management for the design and construction of antenna towers, roads and site development. Provided engineering design and construction management, including: Planning, cost estimates, schedules, budgets, technical specifications and design drawings. Completed projects include: roof replacements, building additions, sprinkler system changes, sanitary sewer additions, masonry walls, utility upgrades, office renovations, HVAC installations, structural steel reinforcing, crane and monorail additions, and concrete foundations for heavy equipment.
