During my career of almost 30 years, I have worked in a variety of organizations, both in the private and voluntary sector, mainly in the role of Business Administration and Office Management. I have experience of working in Financial Services, the Community Drug and Alcohol sector, and in the Social Housing sector. I take great pride in my work and always apply myself conscientiously. My passions are: quality and customer service excellence, I am happy to work within established systems and am always willing to learn new skills. I enjoy taking on additional responsibilities and relish using my initiative to discover and develop new ways of completing tasks to improve efficiency. I have a strong work ethic, and this has been recognized and rewarded by promotions and additional responsibilities in four of the organizations where I have worked. I have always been a spiritual seeker and have been meditating and practising Yoga for almost 30 years. In 2021 I decided to deepen my knowledge of Yoga by undertaking professional training with the Yoga Satsang Ashram in the UK, where I was trained in the Gitananda Yoga Tradition and became a certified Yoga teacher. The 200 hour teacher training course is recognized by Yoga Alliance Professionals and the Indian Yoga Association, and involves the classical study of Hatha, Jnana and Raja Yoga. The course covered pranayama, meditation, relaxation techniques, yoga philosophy, anatomy, and Yoga asanas.Going forward, it is my intention to focus my career on spreading and sharing the many benefits of Yoga with as many people as possible.
