 Currently working in Transportation Operation Cell (Trans Ops) located on Bagram Airfield. I’m responsible for the coordination / planning of cargo movement and personnel (PAX) movements within the base. Manage the daily operations to ensure the missions are performed efficiently. Assist management with Ad Hoc reports and other matters as they arise. Maintain the administrative requirements for our drivers and other personnel as required per Dictorate of Logistics (DOL). Create, maintain and distribute various spread sheets, and presentations for upper management briefings. Resolve customer complaints and issues as they occur. Create and maintain Transportation Movement Requests (TMR’s) utilizing the Microsoft Access software. Also, uplink that information into a MRP database called Maximo; for tracking and auditing purposes. Update and maintain Org Charts, Accountability Rosters, DOL – Bi Weekly / Separation Rosters and other DOL metrics as directed. Perform various tasks as directed by Management.

 Created and Amended Work Orders & Routing to expedite the delivery parts Adjusted the Bill of Materials (BOM) as requested to ensure a smooth production flow Attended daily Production meetings to discuss material availability, process flow, Q/A issues, and pending sales orders Obtained and analyzed quotes, examined bid proposals and negotiated contracts within budgetary guidelines and scope of authority  Converted Firmed Plan Orders (FPO’s) to Purchase Orders (PO’s) and utilized an a Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP- Glovia) & Material Requirement Planning ( MRP) systems as means of procuring material and Maintenance, Repair & Operations ( MRO) items, fabricated parts, welded parts and electronic components. Coordinated with Sales & Marketing to endure parts were ordered based on projected lead-times Negotiated contracts for annual purchases considered as Contract Manufacturing (CM) Evaluated supplier reliability, pricing, on-time deliveries, and product quality & conformity. Also, communicated ECN to the customers and gave feedback to the Q/A Team Managed the Inventory to ensure parts, components, sub-components and MRO items were readily available for daily production and last minute change orders Expedited parts and process (i.e. Heat Treat, Plating or Outside Fabrications) as requested due to production requirements  Kept abreast of changing trends concerning raw materials, electronic and various component parts Occasionally visited suppliers, manufacturing expos, seminars / workshops to enhance proficiency in procurement and materials skills

 Procured various parts (machined, fabricated, welded, semi-finished, etc) and materials for assembly line utilizing a MRP system called GLOVIA Scheduled/ planned shipments for deliveries, created PO’s, maintained over 45 various accounts ranging from metal fabricators to paint manufactures Maintained inventory for over 250 different parts, data entry, critical thinking, corresponded with vendors daily, negotiated quotes, monitored market for dramatic changes concerning steel and other resources Read schematics on a daily basis to ensure Engineer Change Notice (ECN) are accurate Ensured vendor meet quality specifications, on-time deliveries and customer service criteria
