Recognized for my years of success managing Aladdin programs, I was selected by the BlackRock Alternatives executive management team to implement BlackRock's newly acquired end-to-end alternative investment management software, eFront, across the division’s investment teams.Setting the foundation for scalable AUM growth, I spearheaded strategic initiatives across BlackRock’s Private Equity, Private Credit, Multi-Asset, and Climate Infrastructure platforms and streamlined eFront deployments across BlackRock’s alternatives businesses. These deployments simultaneously enriched the Aladdin value proposition with eFront analytics and enabled fund managers, clients, and fund administrators to benefit from constantly elevated standards and innovative product features.By streamlining the data migration process and teaming with technology personnel to develop data sourcing and translation programs, we loaded 20 years of LP capital activity, investment transactions, and valuations at scale and in rapid succession. Our new reporting suite delivered major improvements in reconciliations of IRR, TVPI, and DPI of LPs and investments.Able to understand client needs and bridge knowledge gaps, I capitalized on my extensive experience with public fixed income to design product specs for unsupported private loan asset classes; these encompassed transaction processing, commitment and loan accrual calculations, compliance reporting, and borrowing-power calculations. Teaming with product developers to design, develop, and provide a combined eFront and Aladdin solution for investors, Whole Portfolio View provided an overview of investment exposures and full reporting across both public and private markets.

I leveraged 15 years of experience to unify multiple teams of data specialists and oversee the end-to-end data life cycle and implemented foundational data sets for Aladdin (BlackRock’s portfolio and risk management platform) and Aladdin Risk clients to ensure accurate monthly reporting. Stepping in as the technical linchpin during system validations, pitches, and due diligence meetings with prospective clients was pivotal in generating millions in new business. Under my leadership, the team ensured accurate monthly reporting and remediated analysis and accuracy issues that were negatively impacting the business development group. My data stewardship team also cut implementation times, most notably by optimizing data sourcing and quality assurance (QA) procedures and deploying a portfolio risk- and performance-measurement reporting suite.My organizational, procedural, and technology enhancements set the foundation for sweeping operational efficiencies and scalable growth. We saw significant reductions in tracking-error discrepancies by ensuring high data quality when generating and aligning monthly performance reporting on ETF and passive strategies with market benchmark data and pricing for both hedged and unhedged mandates. Rigorously reviewing and overseeing our 3rd party market benchmark sourcing, storage, and implementation, we ensured accuracy of vendor valuations and analytics on Aladdin.

After earning recognition by senior management and peers as BlackRock’s resident trading, compliance, and operational workflow expert, I was appointed to manage the highest-profile clients and maximize implementation support for our new asset management clients. During this time, I strengthened and managed client relationships for the 2 largest buy-side fixed-income managers on the Aladdin platform with more than $1.5 trillion in AUM and 1,000+ users across the US, EMEA, and APAC.Critical to increasing BlackRock revenue, I identified lucrative product development opportunities and introduced value-added services and technology enhancements to maximize value, scale client growth, and address client-specific portfolio and risk management challenges.
