Dr. Anthony Maffei, MD, F.A.C.S., is a minimally invasive/bariatric surgeon and the Director of Bariatric Surgery at Putnam Hospital Center. Dr. Maffei completed his general surgery residency at The Stamford Hospital/Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He was fellowship trained in minimal access/bariatric surgery at The Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery in New York.Dr. Maffei is a board certified general surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. An assistant professor of surgery at New York Medical College, Dr. Maffei is also involved in the training of residents and fellows in general surgery and minimal access surgery.Dr. Maffei and his highly trained team are dedicated to providing the highest level of patient care every step of the way.
