In this varied and challenging role as a senior logistician I fulfilled multiple responsibilities. Providing local procurement on overseas deployments, managing facilities in the Falkland Islands, creating bespoke training packages for junior soldiers to further their career development, and provided training and management support during Covid 19.Within this role, I have:Procurement & Budget management: Successfully provided local procurement of goods and services for two military deployments overseas whist managing budgets of up to £500K, procuring everything from food, water and fuel to transport and heavy plant equipment ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective operations which ended in a saving of approximately £150k per deployment.Accommodation Management: Managed multiple properties and accommodation blocks, this included inspection, key issuance, maintenance coordination, and providing broad support to military personnel and their families. Supervised an accommodation team, evaluating and reporting on their personnel performance, whilst also managing public capital, keeping high standards.Training Development: Designed comprehensive training programs that equipped personnel to deploy abroad for training exercises and excel in their roles as resource logisticians. This included developing requirements, processes, and budget management methods. Aided military logistics and provided bespoke training to five hundred personnel in the safe management of test centres during Covid 19 whist conducting audits of active test centres.Mentorship: Developed foundational training programs for junior logisticians to foster career advancement, sharing knowledge and expertise to shape the future of the defence logistics. As an experienced Supply Chain Manager, I assumed a role reserved for senior managers, leading a team of logisticians to support global end users.Key responsibilities:Supply Chain Manager: Manage the complete supply chain lifecycle from cradle to grave, where I orchestrated the seamless coordination from defence procurement to final delivery, guaranteeing prompt and accurate provisioning to meet organizational needs and operational requirement.Warehouse Management: Directing the operations of multiple warehouse and storage areas holding over six thousand different items and commodities (valued at approximately £140 million), including the receipt, organisation, maintenance and issue of the various commodities, as well as the disposal and replacement of outdated equipment and material. This also included the management of the organisations ammunition storage areas which had to be managed in strict adherence to MOD ammunition storage regulations. I was also the administrator of the organisations MIS MJDI and had responsibility for ensuring data brevity, issue management, and general problem solving.Instructor: Delivered training via workshops to ensure all ammunition was safely transported from the storage site to UK military training areas in compliance with UK Law. Mentor: Provided one to one and workshop-based training for all staff developing their skills in the use of MJDI and their knowledge of general supply/warehouse management.Two of my key accomplishments:Oversaw a £140M account, responsible for global asset management across diverse locations, passing multiple mandatory MOD inspections to a high standard whilst identifying and implementing improvements in both supply chain and warehouse management processes.The complete overhaul and development of a building into a working warehouse inclusive of the cataloguing and implementation of an effective inventory management regime which reduced picking and packing time substantially.

Responsibilities: As part of a facilities management team, I was responsible for assisting the facilities manager in all matters related to infrastructure, accommodation, and office inventory for an organisation with over 200 living spaces, offices and technical areas.Assisting in the management of all the inventory held on the sites MIS MJDI.Liaising with civilian agencies for site maintenance and repair requirements.Providing an out of hours point of contact for 400 military personnel on facility management matters. Notable achievements during this period included: Managing the creation of a mass transit facility for 50+ personnel, this involved the conversion of an old onsite gymnasium, ensuring it was habitable, health & safety and fire compliant, acquiring the soft and hard furnishing for use within the mass transit facility including installation, and creating the required administrative paperwork to book and utilise the facility. I was also appointed as the point of contact for its management.Managing the organisation, and co-ordination, of the update of six accommodation buildings with a total of 360 bedrooms. This included the procurement of all the soft & hard furnishings, scheduling the deliveries in line with contractor availability, scheduling manpower to assist with the installation and removal of soft furnishings, sourcing and arranging the disposal of old furnishings including via recycling, and provide a single point of contact for all queries whilst providing progress updates to senior management.
