Requested to provide support to Defence Primary Healthcare’s (DPHC) logistics delivery team by providing comprehensive logistics and supply chain knowledge and support.Expertise provided:Logistics Support: I analysed, adapted, and updated current processes and procedures while providing training and understanding in current logistics and supply chain methods. I supported the logistics and supply chain operations of DPHC, ensuring seamless and managed delivery of material and equipment to over 300 locations worldwide.Efficiency Evaluation: conducted an evaluation of the logistics and supply chain procedures within DPHC, identified areas for improvement and recommended strategic enhancements creating faster operation improving efficiency and reducing management burden.Team Guidance: Provided one to one and workshop based training and guidance to personnel who are unfamiliar with logistics and supply chain operations, empowering them to better manage resources reducing management burden and allowing easier decision making.Technology Utilization: Using the MIS MJDI (management of the joint deployed inventory) to optimize material and equipment management, ensuring accurate records of materiel holding’s across 300+ sites, and providing workshop based training to staff in its functions and use, improving accounting quality, speed and overall efficiency.My accomplishments:Achieving £2.5M in savings by investigating and resolving legacy materiel accounting issues across DPHC.Increased accuracy of record keeping and materiel holdings.Ensured compliance with defence logistics policy, passing a major audit.Instructed cross-functional staff on defence standards, processes and supply chain procedures improving operational efficiency.Standardised and simplified processes to procure, manage, control, and dispose of material and equipment used by DPHC, whilst setting up control measures and KPI’s to monitor performance in line with defence policy.
