The General Directorate of Municipal Projects (GDMP) within the Saudi Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs (MOMRA) has been established to raise efficiency in project delivery at the Amanah (local) level. Anthony is the Strategic Planning and Engineering and Document Management Director for these two Departments of the GDMP. He has a critical role in insuring MOMRA develops, improves and put into use, engineering and document control processes, procedures and tools in order to deliver efficient and effective projects. He has full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments and is responsible for acting independently on engineering matters pertaining to engineering standardization. He is also the MOMRA Lead for the GDMP Learning and Development group, which provides guidance, training, and coaching to MOMRA.

Duties include managing the design center for resolution of client comments, change control, construction interface, Civil Defense submittals, gate reviews, interface with other design entities, and mentoring the Area Project Engineers in coordinating work fronts between disciplines and resolving technical issues.

Charlotte, North Carolina Area

Project Engineer for a Google Fiber buildout for the City of Charlotte, NC. Responsible for supervision and coordination of design activities for the placement of the equipment and fiber required for the buildout. Duties include directing Make Ready, Outside Plant, Networking, Permitting, and Fielding Engineers to deliver a cost effective, high quality buildout which can service over 400,000 addresses, Related duties include interfacing with construction, procurement, and the client.

Santiago Province, Chile

Engineering Group Supervisor for the Escondida Water Supply Project, a $3B+ joint venture project consisting of a Sea Water Desalination Plant and a system of new roads, tunnels, pump stations, reservoirs and transmission towers to transport process water from the ocean to the Escondida Mine in the Andes Mountains. Civil work involves moving almost 2 million cubic meters of mass earthworks. Directed multi GPU groups in Santiago, Chile (M&M) for the structural design of the transport system, Frederick (Power) for the high voltage substations and transmission tower design, steel detailing in New Delhi, resident engineering at jobsite, coordination with the pipeline group in Houston, and a Contractor for the Desalination Plant. Duties include maintaining quantity tracking databases (Inspec), EPPR and managing CSA related SRs and MRs.

Montreal, Canada Area

Engineering Group Supervisor for the Kitimat Modernization and Infrastructure Project, a $3B+ aluminum smelter and major infrastructure facility upgrade, from beginning of detailed design to near completion of design. Scope involved site preparation, new roads, bridges, drainage, and over 30 significant structures including over 36,000 tons of steel and over 130,000 cubic meters of concrete. Group included two Architectural firms and Bechtel direct Civil and Structural design/detailing teams in Montreal, New Delhi, China, and jobsite. Peak staffing was at 145 and CSA budget exceeded 350K. Managed 39 CSA Service and Material Requisitions.
