• Presiding Judge of Appellate Term 9th and 10th Judicial Districts 2013 to 2018. Supervise, hear and decide all Civil and Criminal Appeals from the City and District Courts of Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Dutchess, Orange and Rockland Counties.• Supervise all Tax Certiorari and Small Claims Assessment Review matters in Nassau County.

• Responsible for supervision of all State Courts in Nassau County including Supreme Court, Surrogate's Court, Family Court, County Court, District Court and City Courts of Long Beach and Glen Cove. • Responsible for $100-$110 million budget. • Supervised 88 judges and 1100 non-judicial personnel. • Supervised planning and implementation of problem solving initiatives, Integrated Domestic Violence Parts, Veteran's Part, Mental Health Part, Adolescent Diversion Part and Human Trafficking Part. • Supervised budget and payroll management, personnel management and labor management relations. • Supervised deployment of non-judicial personnel. • Responsible for reviewing all requests for structural changes, position modification and new positions for all courts in Nassau County. • Responsible for implementing new legislation and new initiatives for court operations. Supervised, organized and implemented all aspects of New York State's largest and most comprehensive Law Student Intern Program. Every year 300+ student applicants apply for 50 student intern positions. Each student is placed with an individual Nassau County Judge for 8 weeks. The program is a collaboration with the Nassau County Courts and the Nassau County Bar Association; Criminal Courts Bar Association; the Nassau County Attorney; the Nassau County Police Department; the Nassau County Sheriff; the Nassau County Coroner and others. It provides in depth comprehensive lectures on various aspects of civil and criminal law from experts in each area.

• Supervised more than 5000 contested cases, 8000 uncontested cases and 1000 post-judgement applications.• Supervised 60 court personnel, including judges, clerks, court officers, court reporters and support staff.• Enacted uniform part rules in collaboration with bench and Bar Association.• Supervised early neutral evaluation program at Matrimonial Center and established library and conference center.• Developed and implemented the "Fair Access to Justice" program, a pro bono program for contested matrimonial litigants.• Implemented the first comprehensive court-assisted parent coordinator program.• Established matrimonial law/guardianship law education program for Nassau County.• Created standing committee of Family Court and Supreme Court judges to foster a constructive working relationship between matrimonial bar and judiciary.• Supervised all cases under Kendra's Law, hospital retention, forced medication hearings and emergency medical procedure hearings.• Responsible for establishing new modern courtroom at Nassau County Medical Center.
