Production of CGI visuals for the Thales Watchkeeper Unmanned Aircraft Vehicle training program. Working directly with ID’s and SME’s to create 2D diagrams and schematics, 3D rendered cutaways, component views and technical orthographic illustrations of the airframe, flight controls, actuation, LRU's, power systems, payload, Ground Control Stations and real-to-life scenario based imagery. Delivered on an LMS, developed in LCMS.

Working one-to-one with engineering and manufacturing Subject Matter Experts to capture and process visual data packs, to be implemented in to the initial BAE corporate roll-out Enterprise Resource Planning Engineering Change program. Developed in Photoshop & Captivate, uploaded to a Learning Control Management System, distributed by LMS.

Yeovil, Somerset

Creating physically accurate 3D images and animations from reference material; engineering drawings, photographic, Catia V5 conversion, and physical products (reverse engineering) for use within AgustaWestlands (now Leonardo) Global Customer Training and Maintenance Applications for the AW159 (Wildcat) and AW101 variants. Subjects include: cockpit awareness, cutaways/cross sectional views of the airframe, transmission, rotor head, APU, Power, weapon systems, SAR, flight controls, LRU's, composites, fuel/air, hydraulic and electrical systems.

Portsmouth, Hms Collingwood

Working direct with SME's and Military weapon specialists to create 2D/3D visuals for the complete mechanical operation and maintenance of the 7.62mm GPMG (General Purpose Machine Gun) Weapon Training Program. Physically accurate cutaways, component views identifying the firing mechanism, breech block, gas cycle/adjustment, recoil, buffer, feed and round loading mechanisms.

Wellingborough, Northamptonshire

Working with Cummins development, operation and electrical engineers to create physically correct visuals of the High Voltage range of Power Generation. Cutaways, component and illustrated animations of the construction, maintenance, mechanical and electrical operation of the stator, windings, insulation, and Low Voltage distribution.

Northampton

Creating pre-production marketing material and 3D rendered images of the software-customisable ID series range of amplifiers prior to global launch, created from a small selection of envisaged samples. Visuals included beauty renders for advertising, printed and digital product documentation and operational Graphical User Interface (GUI), Blackstar - endorsed by Ozzy Osbourne none the less, a fantastic project to be involved in.

Creating technically accurate 2D/3D images and animations from reference; engineering drawings, photographic, CAD data and physical products (reverse engineering) for use within the Royal Air Force Fast Jet Introduction Trainer (Shorts Tucano), including a 3D rendered comprehensive cockpit trainer, cutaways/component views of the airframe, flight controls, fuel/air, hydraulics and electrical systems, facilitating visuals that are impossible to photograph or film.

DVA Cleared to Secret Level, producing 2D detailed images, 3D technical drawings and animations for use primarily in the Military training sector, from the complete overhaul of a Type 45 NAVY Destroyer to full maintenance simulators including Rolls-Royce Gas Turbines, 44kV electrical systems and various armored fighting vehicles, weapons systems including small arms, missiles and heavy explosives, aircraft avionics and air frame to flight/pilot training for various defence, aerospace, aviation and commercial markets worldwide.
