As President and Chief Executive Officer of Global Engineering & Technology, Inc. (GET), Mr. Maruri exercises operational direction over all company activities. He develops, approves, and directs company-wide operating policies and procedures, which apply to all employees engaged in various business areas of human resources, information technology, security, and a variety of other services. Polices cover all business operations, HR, business processes, organizational structure, contract administration, client relationships, and quality control. Additionally, he develops and approves corporate business plans, with an emphasis on expanding business opportunities and fostering growth to its employees. Mr. Maruri has formulated long-term new market penetration analysis. Mr. Maruri has established effective project management systems for internal evaluations and reporting to clients. He has assured that performance standards and measurements are developed and installed for each client, and conducts regular program evaluations to identify performance problems and adverse trends.

Mr. Marui helps support various funtions under GEM, an SDB Federal Government contractor. As a Human Resources Coordinator, Mr. Maruri was responsible for employee recruitment for various Federal and private sector contracts, screening and hiring key staff for various security and engineering positions, employment opportunities of new hires with various backgrounds, and project placement for new inter-office hires. As a Systems Information Manager, Mr. Maruri also provides Server Support Services, Network Administration and implementation of new technologies to various costumers nationwide. He provides networking administration, implementation of all new technologies (i.e. software, hardware and office equipment), network interface, system back-ups, and over-all systems engineering, operations, development, maintainability and administration of client networks and internet/intranet websites, updates and upgrades, LAN/WAN design, support and upgrades, VPN setup and connection, connectivity solutions, network security penetration and overall security support services. He also provides his clients with new technologies and ideas to streamline business for its customers by developing ways to allow a greater range and efficiency in communication and control between the contractors and clients.
