I am experienced software developer with a 4 year background in Java. I have experience with many java frameworks such as Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Spring Quartz, Apache Struts (1 and 2) and Java server faces. I am also proficient in developing applications using Groovy/Grails framework. I am familiar with Spring Boot. Applications that I have dealt with are mostly web applications using a browser interface or using as SOAP or RESTful web services. I also as a part of this role I have occasionally taken on the role of project manager.I specialize in creating well functioning code through the use of automated testing at the unit, integration and functional levels. I am looking for opportunities to continue my career in software development in the Kansas City Area. I am willing to explore roles either as a Java Developer or as a Project Manager.
