I Oversee all aspects of IT operations for our law firm, including hardware, software, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity. Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with our industry regulations and data security standards.

I provided network & server migrations for customers still on Exchange to O365. I received extensive administrative and security O365 training. I assisted with Azure Cloud strategies and disaster recovery and implemented this solution for several customers. I provided NIST, PCI support and evaluation support to our customers when completing their surveys. Identify and investigate client IT strategies and recommend solutions for current and future growth for our clients. Provide future growth information, processes and cost analysis.

I supervised and managed Help Desk and support staff and in-house programmers. Maintained and developed in-house Data Center operations / oversaw the new data center design and installation, application servers, racks, cooling, ups, and generator. Oversee data center operations and vendor coordination. Windows Server administration and maintenance including Active Directory, Group Policy and Exchange. I evaluated, purchased, and maintained our Netapp & HP SAN. Researched options available and implemented to include a cost analysis for all available options. Implemented Co-location replication (SAN) and site infrastructure. Mapped future technology growth. Installed and maintain ProjectWise collaboration infrastructure for Autodesk and Bentley CAD products. I planned, implemented and tested disaster recovery solutions. Network switching / WAN acceleration data storage to remote offices.

I led Florida team of 11 technicians with Novell to Windows 2000 conversion for 27 locations. My team then upgraded to Ethernet at the 27 locations while insuring business impact was minimal. mWorked with all levels of IT staff inside and outside our organization. Created network diagrams and documentation for network planning and troubleshooting.

I upgraded all Windows NT servers on Florida’s west coast 42 locations. Configured Lotus Notes server / clients at each location with ISDN connections.
