I am an Environmental Consultant with QED Engineering Ltd. and undertake a range of Environmental, Energy and Health & Safety Consultancy work.• I manage IED, IPC and Waste Licences and Permits for companies in the North and South. This involves application for the licence or review / variation of the licence, monitoring of all relevant parameters and submission of required forms and reports to the regulatory body.• I ensure that licensed sites comply with conditions within set timeframes.• I undertake a range of monitoring within licensed sites, following standard methods and guidelines e.g. Noise monitoring, Air Emissions, Ambient Dust, Bioaerosols, Surface and Groundwater monitoring, bund integrity assessments.• I compile Annual Environmental Reports for IED, IPC and waste license sites. I also complete the Annual Environmental Returns for Waste Collection Permit holders and waste survey reporting for waste license sites. • I undertake Environmental Impact Statements for Planning Applications for quarries. This involves detailed site audits and investigations to determine all environmental issues pertaining to a site. It also involves producing a concise Environmental Impact Statement Report.• I undertake Energy Audits and reports, with recommendations for improvement.• I undertake planning applications, undertake GPS/ Topographical surveys, AutoCAD drawings and all paperwork for this process.• I undertake applications for Licence to Discharge (to surface water/ groundwater) for client sites.• I undertake a range of Occupational Health & Safety monitoring and surveying, e.g. noise, dust, gas, vapour surveys, legionella risk assessments.

Methanogen Ltd specialise in community Anaerobic Digestion. In this position I supervised periods of projects, including soil sampling, sample collection, flora surveys, nutrient management calculations and site plotting.
