In this role, I was responsible for contributing to the preparation of the annual dealership forecast by projecting unit sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profits for the sales department.In addition to the above, I hired, led, guided, and motivated team members to meet and exceed objectives by setting goals, tracking performance daily, and implementing improvement strategies.One of my key tasks was to conduct an analysis of local market conditions, demographics, and past sales history and provide recommendations to the general manager regarding short- and long-range advertising plans, sales promotions, and staffing needs.Lastly, I negotiated and closed deals in collaboration with salespeople and customers in addition to addressing customer complaints to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
