Within Salt River Project's (SRP) Sustainability Policy and Programs department, my primary role is to lead development of SRP's annual corporate greenhouse gas inventory and facilitate public sustainability reporting to The Climate Registry (TCR). I also manage stakeholder relationships with top internal executives and external organizations (including municipalities, academia, corporations, NGOs and non-profits), drive the expansion of employee-facing sustainability programs, and leverage my industry expertise to initiate sustainability conversations that lead to measurable savings for the organization.

Flagstaff, Arizona Area

The NAU Green Fund facilitates, funds, and executes campus sustainability projects using an annual budget of over $650,000. As Co-Chair of this organization, I was responsible for leading a team of students, faculty, and staff, directing fiscally-responsible project expenditures, maintaining relationships with top university officials, campaigning for campus sustainability, and drafting directional documents. My leadership directly resulted in the completion of 200% more sustainability-related projects than previous years, helping to establish a legacy of continuous impact, full transparency, and enhanced professionalism.

Flagstaff, Arizona Area

The NAU Honors Ambassador team recruits prospective students to the NAU Honors College through engaging tours and presentations, attended by regular audiences of over 200 people. I was responsible for leading these events and for supervising 18 other Ambassadors by heading team meetings, organizing large recruitment venues, handling employee training, and acting as the professional student liaison between the Honors College and the broader university.

Grand Canyon Village, Az

My efforts as the 2019 Sustainability Intern for Xanterra Travel Collection directly resulted in the certification of Maswik Lodge in Grand Canyon Village as the first restaurant ever under the UL Environment Zero Waste to Landfill standard at an 81% waste diversion rate, and the certification of Harvey House Café at Bright Angel Lodge as the first 4-Star Certified Green Restaurant in Arizona and the 29th in the nation. Additionally, I participated and engaged in a fully comprehensive ISO 14001 External Audit, regularly conducted environmental inspections of company operations, and performed detailed data analyses of Xanterra energy usage, waste profiles, and water delivery systems.
