I worked closely with Dr. Paul Green and other research assistants in the Driver Interface group at the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute. I was responsible for conducting literature reviews, as well as assisting in experiment design, subject testing and data analysis for several automotive industry sponsored projects, including General Motors and Chrysler.Projects included:-Developing models for predicting menu selection time for touch screen interface using HCI principles, such as GOMS, KLM and MHP-Determining driver reaction time to an automatic crash avoidance breaking system-Determining a drivers perceived workload based on implementing various rear-view and side-view mirror sizes and configurations-Texting while driving and speech-to-text interface study using a driving simulator and the Wizard of Oz techniquePublications:Lin, B.T-W., Green, P., Kang, T-P., Mize, A., Best, A., and Su, K.
