 Operational lead for new multi user flagship sit, responsible for four contracts on site including Inditex, Zara Home, Forward Orders and Amara site  Full P & L accountability for the contracts noted above.  Assisting with the start up of three successful new John Lewis contracts, including the Forward Orders contract, one 6 month pop up warehouse which led to a second fixed term contract, of which I was requested to set up by the customer. Also the start up of the Amara contract that went live while stock was still being migrated from their previous 3PL supplier.  Direct report for 5 shift managers and several FLM’s Liaising with the customers to set up SOP’s, recruitment, inc customer site visits to understand their procesess.  Working with a team of other operation managers reporting into the General Manager.  Collating data for weekly and monthly reports.  Producing and presenting period review packs for the company directors and the customer.  Re-forcasting of budgets as a direct result of analysis of current throughput against forcast. Key Achievements include:- 5 successful start ups in 5 years including the recruitment of the operational teams, supported WMS Implementation, floor layout, infrastructure, stock migration from incumbent service provider to new DC, completion of all site SOP’s; The ability to manage 4 contracts at the same time Flexibility to support start ups on other sites while simultaneously managing contracts at NH3.

Reporting to the General Manager, responsible for; All distribution centre operations including Inbound, Despatch, E-Commerce and Transport – 120,000 sqft, 50 – 180 staff, 35,500 SKU’s; Management of 5 x first line managers and overall responsibility for 100 FTE (increasing to 180 during peak periods) – Performance management, development plans,  Customer KPI and SLA management – including reporting, continuous improvement and process development. Intake/Dispatch of c.3.5 million retail units (£200m retail turnover)  P&L management, forecasting, cost saving initiatives, monthly reporting – budgte c.£4m. Super User of Warehouse Management System “Merret”; Management of main customer relationship – performance, reporting, and period reviews; Site Training and documentation (TAR’s), Health & Safety and Security provision for the site;Key Achievements include:- Active involvement in the startup of a new distribution centre opened specifically for a new customer. Recruitment of the operational teams, WMS Implementation, site layout, infrastructure, stock migration from incumbent service provider to new DC, completion of all site SOP’s; Reduction in absence levels from 4% to less than 2% over a rolling 12 month period – best within group. Staff turnover levels also reduced across site; Supported implementation of additional revenue streams to Northampton site by maximising the utilisation of space. APL/Joerns Healthcare; Increased stock accuracy significantly from a previously reported level of 60% to 99.5% (consistently maintained); Supporting engagement improvements on site with specific responsibility for focus group creation following the engagement survey and ownership of the follow up survey. Driving Ecom layout improvements through peak to deliver increased productivity despite customer IT restrictions.
