Project Manager, NetJets • Electronic Flight Book– Led the refresh of critical Electronic Flight Book (EFB) mobile devices for all 2500 NetJets Pilots. Established the processes and led the team through the configuration, scheduling, asset management, deployment and post deployment support. • Service Hub / Remote Sites – Led the workstream to establish IT services for 12 new aircraft maintenance sites across the US. Managed disparate teams across NetJets IT to fulfill WAN connectivity, local networking, computer equipment and mobile device requirements. • Windows 7 Migration - Led the migration from Windows 7 to Windows 10 for 3600 PC’s globally to complete ahead of the end of Microsoft support. Established processes, schedules and support to ensure minimal disruption to NetJets mission critical flight operations. • Oracle Exadata Replacement – Served as the program manager for the Oracle Exadata database upgrade as well as the Kafka and Snowflake enablement. Led the program level coordination, planning and reporting.

Emerson Network Power was divested from Emerson Electric to become Veriv in 2016, I continued in my role leading the Vertiv PMO team. In a 9 month period the PMO team managed numerous projects to separate Emerson Network Power from its former parent company. Major projects included the separation of Oracle EBS, SAP, Office 365, WAN infrastructure, and security as well as applications for Finance, Treasury, Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales and Marketing. After the separation activities my focus shifted to the implementation of Planview Enterprise One system. I led the project from defining the overall strategy down to performing the admin functions. Planview successfully went live on March 5th 2018. In 2013 my role was expanded to lead the PMO organization for Emerson Network Power. I led the transformation of the PMO team to build a high performing organization capable of delivering key projects for the $4Bil business group. In addition to managing the team, I was responsible for Project Portfolio Management, adherence to Governance, Budgets, Escalation Management, and Executive Reporting. I also drove continual improvements in the IT Project Lifecycle and the introduction of a Hybrid methodology to complement the standard Waterfall methodology. Additional responsibilities included Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and software compliance and the management of internal and public audits.Emerson Network Power was a $4.5B global company with over 20,000 employees across 40 countries. Avocent was acquired by Emerson Electric in December of 2010. At this time I took the opportunity to build out a PMO function for the Avocent business unit. As the Director of IT PMO I provided oversight for the integration project of Avocent into Emerson’s systems and infrastructure. I brought PMO practices to the Avocent business with a formalized governance process, portfolio management, change management, escalation procedures, and standardized Executive reporting. I also led the initiatives to KPI’s for the IT group, adoption of the Emerson annual planning process, and implementation of security and IP Protection processes.

In 2007 I was promoted to the Director of Global IT Operations. In this role I led a global team of over 65 staff covering Datacenter Operations, Service Delivery, Infrastructure Services, Security, Audit and Compliance. I led the development, ongoing governance and audit coordination for our Sarbanes-Oxley controls. I successfully led the consolidation of disparate IT teams to create one global Operations and Service Delivery organization.Avocent formed in 2000 from the merger of the world's two largest manufacturers of KVM (keyboard, video and mouse) equipment: Apex and Cybex Computer Products Corporation. As of 2008 Avocent reported revenues of $658M, and employed more than 1,800 people worldwide. Focus for the company was expanded to desktop management with the addition of LANDesk and the development of datacenter management software.

As Avocent as it was formed in 2001 I continued as the IT Manger for the Western US region and in 2005 I assumed management of the Asia Pacific region. During this time I continued to lead IT Operations and Customer Support teams along with performing administration duties for the LAN, WAN, Exchange and the Fourth Shift ERP system. In 2003 Avocent migrated their disparate ERP systems to SAP. During the SAP implementation I was responsible for the EDI program. I also served as the Project Manager and IT M&A lead for the integration of OSA Technologies, Cyclades, Touchpaper, Ergo2000, and LANDesk acquisitions.

I joined Apex to define their Technical Support department. Apex was manufacturing a line of Keyboard/Video/Mouse switches. The customers I provided service included Microsoft, HP, Compaq, IBM, and Dell. As Apex grew I moved over to develop their IT department. I performed staff management along with my administrator duties. Some of my technical accomplishments include managing the Fourth Shift ERP system, maintaining a Novell Netware environment, migrating to Microsoft’s Active Directory, MS Exchange, and an early adopter of SharePoint.
