With a hands on approach and customer focus, I was able to lead the team to successfully improve the plant reliability, which contributed to the ironmaking team being able to consistently deliver above the monthly target for iron tonnes. Responsible for training, development, staffing and allocating work for the Rigging and Scaffolding team across site. A restructure allowed me to focus solely on this team and I was successful in increasing the teams schedule adherence. Training compliance for the riggers was the highest in CMG and the team is highly regarded across site.
