CurrentSupported the successful bid for the recent award of the Prime Ministers Challenge Fund bid for Primary Care in West Wakefield to radically transform how the care system operates across the network.Over the last 10 years I have maintained dynamic, enthusiastic and highly motivated roles for the NHS in Wakefield, firstly as an Events and Business Manager and more recently as a Network Manager. During this time I have gained a reputation for proactively establishing strong relationships, demonstrating successful leadership, management and pragmatic diplomacy skills. I was recognised and presented with a NHS Unsung Hero award for being an outstanding team player that people enjoy working with and having a proven track record of getting things done and achieving project success.A core responsibility has been to lead and develop the organisation’s nationally respected events programme, managing the allocated budget resource as well as planning and marketing events for the organisation.Past experiences include a managerial position at the Sydney Olympic Games involving responsibility for up to 70 staff, ensuring the health and safety of my staff and also visitors to the Olympic Park.I have developed excellent information technology and audio visual equipment skills. I am competent in the use of a range of I.T. and have also web editing expertise supporting website development.In summary, I am a competent, professional and flexible individual, contributing to strategic direction and team objectives.
