• Work on Mechanical Interior component Design (such as cabinetry, mechanical installation), Shop/Manufacturing Easement and other miscellaneous systems.• Act as point-of-contact for the customer-facing team regarding technical questions or issues. Conceive cost-effective, feasible, and certifiable solutions to customer-requested modifications to standard options. • Define technical specifications, mechanical/electrical interfaces, design, integrate, certify, test and troubleshoot the above described systems. • Organize and attend design reviews taking into consideration industry regulations, company Design Practices and requirements. • Research, design and evaluate new technical concepts or emerging technologies. (Trade Shows, Air Shows, technical exhibitions, etc.). Procure parts and supply concept drawings to build mock-ups/prototypes. • Point-of-contact on a technical level for multiple designers. Accountable for engineering deliverables and milestones for a group of monuments and aircraft.• Point-of-contact on a technical level for a supplier awarded “design-to-build” (design, and construction by the supplier. Final component delivery to Bombardier), and “complete outsource” (full aircraft completed and delivered by the supplier) contracts.• Aide in the definition of standard processes to be used by Bombardier when outsourcing aircraft components.

•Produce innovative, intelligent designs for production in a timely manner with respect to the project schedule, while optimizing ease of manufacturing, cost, weight, and function. •Create accurate 3D models, 2D drawings, Engineering Change Notices (ECN & SECN) and other project documentation as required.•Act as shop liaison during initial production of new product designs to prevent and/or solve any engineering issues that may arise.•Collaborate with Supply Chain to examine supplier lead times, costs and availability for parts and tooling necessary to manufacture the product being designed.•Verify, check and sign off on co-workers engineering drawings.

Perform engineering research associated with the Percutaneous Mitral Valve Repair Technique under development at McGill and the Royal Victoria Hospital (part of the McGill University Health Center).

Perform initial mechanism design and CFD testing of the Heart Axial Rotary Blood Assist Engine.

Responsible for the design of training programs for employees and the amelioration the programs presented to the clientele. Also performed employee training and early program implementation.

Assisted in the construction and endurance testing of the I-Rings Wheel Design Project for the Canadian Space AgencyCompleted research with Prof. Peter Radziszewski and co-authored and presented a paper entitled "Investigating Grinding Technologies for Gravity Independent Performance for Space Mining Applications" at the Global Space Exploration Conference in May 2012

Responsible for the maintenance of all simulators, displays, audio-guides and computers used in both the Museum and those used by the Space Camp.

Taught and animated the history and science of manned space exploration. Additionally, was selected to operate the Space Shuttle Simulator as Mission Supervisor.
