Changes include:- Windows 7 upgrade for Swindon site avoiding £75,000 of extended support for Windows XP. Migration of 250 users including management of compatibility testing, repackaging and redeployment of more than 30 applications.- SWIFT message upgrade for trade processing application including introduction of new 3-step payment process required to manage rolled cash deposits.- Project to rationalise technology infrastructure, decommission Windows 2000 instances and consolidate applications on reduced infrastructure footprint as part of a cost reduction programme. This resulted in reduced infrastructure costs and avoided significant extended support costs for Windows 2000.- Unix host and c-tree database upgrade required to mitigate performance issues on core Fund Accounting system, HiPortfolio.- Coordination of Infrastructure and AD staff to support rollout of upgraded print services across sites in London, Edinburgh and Manila.• Performed Implementation & Release management role for more than 400 client changes including:- Upgrade of Fund Accounting system, HiPortfolio to version 3v5.- Multiple tranches to off board both Fund and Investment Accounting services for major client.- Major middleware application upgrade from legacy in-house system using TIBCO Messaging to AbInitio ETL platform.• Specified and oversaw development of automated build tool to integrate with Source Code Management System, Subversion.
