As the Head of the Office, led a team of professionals and other support staff to build effective partnerships to manage and implement ECA's technical cooperation programme; • Responsible for the preparation of the following technical cooperation and program planning documents: the ECA Partnership and Resource Mobilization Strategy; ECA Business Plans; and other project documents and business plans for ECA thematic/focused projects and program including the African Land Policy Initiatives (LPI), African Trade Policy Centre (ATPC) and the African Climate Policy Centre(ACPC). • Established and Maintained productive partnership with Bilateral and multi-laterals partners and organizations for the implementation of ECA projects and programmes, and to mobilize the necessary funding in support of the Commission’s projects and programmes.• Ensuring the effective implementation and monitoring of Technical & Trust Fund programmes and projects, including the Development account Projects; • Organizing regular ECA/Partners meetings to review partnership activities and support; coordinating and facilitating the review and evaluation of extra-budgetary programme and project; preparing and coordinating analytical studies on development policies and issuing relevant to ECA projects and initiatives; • Providing technical support/guidance to Programme Managers in the design and preparation of technical cooperation projects; Coordinating and ensuring timely preparation of various financial and project/programme management and donor reports; and ensuring that these reports prepared by the Office; maintain high-quality standards;Key Achievements• Development of ECA partnership and resource mobilization strategies. Prepared the ECA Business Plans 2013 – 2015; the African Trade Policy Centre (ATPC) five year Business Plan 2014 – 2018; and the ECA Partnership Strategy• Raised ECA funding from $3.2 m. to $125 million
