As the Manager of Business Operations and Ancillary Services for Park Nicollet Melrose Institute, I oversee the business processes for a facility that has 247 employees, $40 million in annual revenue, and provides residential and outpatient services. o Since taking over the financial management of the Park Nicollet Eating Disorder service line (Melrose Institute) in 2008, total revenue has increased 52% and the operating margin has increased 200%.

-Served as a liaison between dedicated service line departments, and all other areas of operations and administration, with regard to strategic/business planning, operational issues, financial issues, and analysis. -Responded to customer requests while simultaneously understanding the cost/benefit associated with carrying out these requests.-Facilitated customers in developing their operational and financial knowledge base by understanding and interpreting the customer’s requests/needs and determining the appropriate action to take.-Performed all levels of financial analysis for specific customers, including pro forma analysis, capital profitability, month-end variance analysis, and ad hoc analysis. -Gathered operational and financial data using company database to assist customer in formatting, interpreting, and utilizing data.-Acquired and maintain knowledge of all systems and processes that impact operational and financial data.-Provided support for customers and Finance Dept with regard to the target and forecasting process.-Facilitated general ledger and subsystem structure changes, as well as identification of process issues and resolution to issues. -Gave presentations to large audiences.-Interacted with all levels of Finance and operating departments (clinic, hospital, and support).
