Problem Analyst
CurrentAs a Problem Analyst I am responsible for the management of Problem investigations from start to finish by facilitating root cause investigations and managing the implementation of corrective and preventative measures. My responsibilities include the following:* Analysis and reporting of incident trend data to identify and eliminate root causes.* Initiating actions to fix potential interruptions to service identified during proactive and trending analysis.* Diagnosis of faults and determining whether new incidents are related to known errors or existing problems.* Initiating actions to fix interruptions to service caused by errors/faults in the application.* Floor walking to assist support analysts with any complex issues or training requirements.* Troubleshooting Stored Procedures/Functions etc..* Using SQL Server Profiler to investigate issues with in house applications.* Creating custom SQL views for clients.* Creating SQL maintenance plans for backups/indexing etc..* Investigating performance issues on SQL Server.
