I am a Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine using the skin to answer unresolved questions in stem cell biology and tissue regeneration, cancer genetics and metastasis, and signaling. My lab aims to use our discoveries to develop novel cellular and molecular therapies through the founding of the Center for Definitive and Curative Medicine. I am passionate about building translational medicine pipelines for unmet medical needs, especially in maternal and child health through the Maternal and Child Health Research Institute.
