Anthony Otten is the Senior Community Engagement Specialist at New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center (NYPCC).Mr. Otten has been committed to serving the community and raising mental health awareness.For almost five years now, Mr. Otten has been providing workshops and trainings to youths, parents, and professionals around topics surrounding mental health such as Stress Management, Bullying Prevention Self Care, etc. Throughout his career, he has helped thousands of individuals and families fight against the stigma behind mental health and assisted them to seek services. He has been part of many movements in the community such as the Anti-bullying Coalition, Emotional Wellness Committee, Trauma-Informed and Healing Center Committee, Suicide Prevention Council, Faith-based Mental Health Taskforce, and many more. He is an active member of the community organizations throughout New York City such as Community Partnership Programs, Borough Based Councils, Mayor’s Action Plan Committees, Health Advisory Boards, Etc. Mr. Otten makes individuals and families wellbeing a priority.
