A lifetime in the automotive industry and passion for cars, starting with the completion of my vehicle refinishing certification from Barton Institute of Tafe. Working in the insurance repair industry at Armstrong & Son in Preston, and moving around to gain experience from painting cars to painting pre delivery Freightliners , I was given a sliding door moment and given my first genuine taste in sales in the automotive industry with a brief but none the less important time at Castanzo Suzuki, and that was all I needed to continuously grow, adapt and eventually excel. Technical Sales Representative for S.R.I Paint Supplies in Campbellfield, then with the purchase by Chemspec Coatings Australia of the S.R.I branch, an almost 3 year stint as Branch Manager really gave me a better understanding of the business mechanics behind running an automotive paint distributor. With the solvency of ChemSpec Globally an opportunity to join AkzoNobel as a Technical Sales Representative was offered, and the next stage of my career growth was initiated. Writhing 18 months my role was then changed to Area Sales Manager which I proudly performed for 7 and half years, unfortunately towards the end, responsibilities and expectations would always refer back to my technical expertise which contradicted the direction path I had my mind set on. And as of now, a genuine sales and consulting role has been given to me, within the same industry I have passionately devoted my career too and working with and for members within that industry with the Victorian Automotive Chamber of Commerce. A role where I can transfer my skill set, network and knowledge within the automotive industry to grow and refine a successful career path.
