• Conducting inspections of fire alarm systems within many different occupancies• Inspecting and reporting fire extinguisher and emergency lighting deficiencies to coincide with Ontario Fire Code• Testing of all Smoke Detectors, Heat Detectors, and Manual pull stations tied into the fire alarm system• Bell and Horn testing to ensure that all audible levels are functional• Assisting in Senior Technicians ability to trouble shoot problems from the panel to the source. • Working alongside property management to ensure that a safe and efficient inspection of the entire building is successful

I was employed by Central York Fire Services to provide fire safety awareness to the community. My responsibilities include inspections and installation of various smoke and carbon monoxide alarms within the households. In addition I participated in community events and public speaking engagements to promote fire prevention along with the smoke alarm campaign.
