Leading a team of Procurement Professionals to deliver value to BAT in the asia pacific and middle east region. We manage a spend of GBP 1.3bln across both directs and indirects categories. We are fully integrated with the BAT global procurement function based in London.

I am the General Manager of Agrega which is a specialist Procurement Company as part of BAT. My team are responsible for the procurement of indirects goods and services for BAT within the Asia Pacific region.

Leadership of the Supply Chain & GLT factory function in BAT Uganda. Responsible for buying, blending, planning, processing, logistics, sales & export of circa 20mln kg’s of Uganda & Congo FCV and Burley. Responsible for the procurement of all directs (agro inputs + packing materials) and indirect materials used by BATU and management of key supplier partnerships.Leading a team of 11 managers, 25 non-managers and 1,300 seasonal staff. Responsible for controlling a departmental budget of over USD 10 million and leaf purchase spend of USD 30 million.Responsible for packed leaf costing and subsequent sales price negotiation with customers Senior member of the Uganda Leadership Team contributing to defining the annual company plan, and medium term company strategy.

Strategic account manager within Supply Chain Western Europe (SCWE) owns and manages the relationship between the supply chain and the BAT commercial entity (customer). This involves: Creation and maintenance of SLAs, Account Plans & Development Plans. Regular attendance of end market S&OP meetings and reporting on performance KPIsLeading the Customer Facing Teams (CFTs) within the supply chain to monitor service performance, create and track issues and execute improvement plans.Monthly track of customer satisfaction and bi-annual in-depth CSS survey followed by results review, feedback to customers and agreed action plan to address service concerns.Sharing of operations strategy into commercial entities and vice-versa.Aligning operations to deliver to specific market needs (competition shortfall, quality gap, etc).
