I oversaw the development and implementation of interactive science and technology exhibitions and public engagement. With a team of exhibit designers, technicians, and contractors, I took responsibility of the management of all aspects of the exhibition process including educational content, budget development, contracting, design, fabrication, installation, maintenance, and media promotion.Exhibitions I developed include: Dinovations Lab – Jurassic dinosaurs One Small Step – Apollo 11 Space Walk – Human space exploration Video Game Revolution – History and technology of video gamesI was also responsible for directing IdeaZone, MOSI's makerspace and prototyping lab. IdeaZone served as the dynamic hub for STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) demonstrations and maker activities for visitors. I served as the go-to science educator and public contact whenever major scientific events like asteroids, sonic booms, or other news that made the headlines. Through frequent appearances on news media, I enlightened the public as “High-Tech Tony” for the inauguration of exhibitions and other major scientific discoveries. As a member of the museum grants team, I was the primary developer of exhibition concepts and scope.Experienced in obtaining national grants, I was able to provide direction for the team.

As the Director of Innovation at MOSI's science center, I founded and directed the bustling makerspace and prototyping lab known as IdeaZone. It was a dynamic hub where hundreds of thousands of museum visitors immersed themselves in engaging engineering, technology, scientific, and artistic activities. IdeaZone stood as a cutting-edge technology showcase, offering hands-on experiences with the latest innovations like 3D printing, laser cutting, and other rapid prototyping tools. The space hosted a wide array of special events, featuring robotics, University of South Florida research projects, and exciting glimpses into the world of future technologies. Being part of this vibrant and transformative space was truly exhilarating as it became an important launching point for MOSI's education programs, exhibitions, and fundraising opportunities. I successfully led fundraising efforts to secure funding and gifts through companies, academic institutions, and members of the community. I was able to obtain support from Disney, University of South Florida, Verizon, and IMLS, and other private donors in the Tampa Bay community.I also specialized in executing extraordinary projects, from developing major exhibitions to organizing successful events like the unforgettable 2017 Solar Eclipse Party and acclaimed science demonstrations and shows. Additionally, I played a crucial role in fostering creativity and innovation by leading design thinking workshops for international students and aspiring tech pioneers in our cutting-edge innovation lab. As the Director of Education at the Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI), I led a team of professional educators and managed a diverse array of responsibilities. My role encompassed the development and management of grant-funded projects, curriculum design, and the oversight of departmental budgets. I thrived on creativity and innovation, which translated into the creation of highly-successful, engaging, and imaginative educational programs, workshops, demonstrations, and exhibitions in the fields of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. It was a rewarding experience to contribute to the growth and enrichment of our visitors' knowledge and fascination with the wonders of the world around us. I oversaw the planning and implementation of one of the largest science and technology camps in the United States. I managed and trained over 270 staff members each summer to deliver hundreds of hands-on, project-based classes for more than 4,500 campers making the Summer Science Camp program the highest revenue generating component of the museum. I led a diverse team of teachers to develop a wide range of exciting and ambitious science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) camps for preschool to high school students. I was the Project Investigator for the development and creation of Mission: Moonbase, an immersive lunar simulation funded by NASA for $1.4 million. As the Adult & Family Programs Manager at the Museum of Science & Industry, I was asked to revitalize the summer science camp, school group, and special events programs. Drawing upon my passion for advanced technology and in-depth science explorations, I crafted a visionary approach that emphasized imagination and fun for all participants. Through creative and innovative initiatives, we successfully transformed the programs into captivating experiences, inspiring a love for science and discovery among visitors of all ages. The impact was profound, and the response was overwhelming. Not only did we witness a surge in popularity, but the economic success of these initiatives also saw significant growth, enabling the museum to further its mission of inspiring future generations of scientists and thinkers.I served as the lead content developer, scriptwriter, and game designer for WeatherQuest, a cutting-edge immersive group simulation. My role was to craft an experience that pushed participants to embrace the roles of scientists, emergency managers, and reporters, fostering teamwork in the face of natural disasters. To ensure accuracy, I delved deep into research at the National Hurricane Center, Bay News 9 weather center, and emergency management center. My goal was to create an unforgettable and educational adventure that challenged and inspired all who participated.In addition to WeatherQuest, I had the opportunity to serve as science content developer for Disasterville, Bodies, and Kids In Charge exhibitions. My responsibilities included writing exhibit copy, developing hands-on exhibits, and designing interactive, digital media for these exhibitions. It was an exciting and fulfilling role that allowed me to contribute my expertise in science communication and engagement to create informative and engaging experiences for visitors.

As the Network Knowledge Coordinator for the Computer Clubhouse Network, my primary responsibility was to engage with Clubhouse students and coordinators worldwide through the Network's intranet system. I passionately fostered a sense of community among them and encouraged the exploration of creative expression using high-tech tools and software with the guidance of the MIT Media Lab.A significant part of my role involved serving as the liaison for the Latin American Clubhouses. In this capacity, I dedicated myself to providing invaluable resources and unwavering support to the Clubhouse Coordinators in the region. Being able to inspire and uplift at-risk students across the globe brought immense joy and fulfillment to my work. Knowing that I made a positive impact in their lives was a truly rewarding experience.

As the Continuing Education Manager at the Museum of Science & Industry, I had the incredible opportunity to develop and oversee a range of engaging science and technology clubs, programs, and school group initiatives. Taking charge of MOSI's largest program, the summer science camp, was both challenging and rewarding. I successfully managed its operation, crafted an enriching curriculum, and led a dedicated team of staff members. The camp, hosted at the museum and various locations across Tampa Bay, provided countless young minds with unforgettable experiences in the world of science and technology.

As the Director of Continuing Education at Universidad Nur, I spearheaded the development of diverse diploma programs. Leading a dedicated team from various university departments, we designed a variety of courses that included biostatistics, food science, English as a second language, and business development. Our goal was to provide enriching opportunities for students and professionals alike in a variety of enriching, fee-based programs. Due to my extensive experience and expertise, the university's rector consistently entrusted me with spearheading a diverse range of projects. Notably, I successfully managed a vocational development project funded by the World Bank, demonstrated my leadership in a large-scale marketing study to assess the viability of distance educational courses through cable television, and made significant contributions to the creation of associate degree programs by leveraging existing degree courses.

As the Environmental Projects Manager at the Universidad Nur, I had the exciting responsibility of overseeing the university's environmental studies center, nestled within the breathtaking Amboro National Park in Bolivia. From the center, I served as the environmental studies instructor on a multidisciplinary team focused on the application of Rapid Rural Appraisal (RRA) and Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) with helping rural communities located around the park. I also took part in several of the university's agricultural and rural development projects including an impact study of the flow of agricultural products across the bi-oceanic corridor of South America.

I worked as a producer for Videas after completing an intense course in Cinematography. With support from the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ), Videas provided free training in video production for communities throughout Bolivia. Although I was primarily involved as a video production instructor, I also served as an assistant producer on several in-house productions including an educational video on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and a documentary on the influence of Baroque music in the Chiquitano region of Bolivia.

After successfully completing a course in Bovine Genetics and Dairy Farming, I was asked to serve as an instructor in the management of small dairy farms and artificial insemination in isolated rural areas of Bolivia.

I hosted the weekly science radio show Vital Science as part of my internship as a science journalist. The show featured interviews with scientists, authors, and visionaries on topics related to science and technology. The show also featured current developments and discoveries. I was responsible for producing, writing, and presenting shows in the field and in the studio.

I served as a Fire Controlman for the US Naval Reserve aboard several naval vessels including theUSS Leyte Gulf and the USS Patterson. I was responsible for advancing my weapon systems training as well as other military skills including marksmanship and damage control.

As part of a special program, I spent my active duty studying advanced electronics, radar, and computer systems in order to receive my certification as a Fire Controlman, a combat systems engineer responsible for a ship's combat weapon systems.
