At MCC, I learned how to deal with children and their parents, and how to deal with their problems. I was in charge of making sure that kids aged 3-11 were taken care of and entertained from 7 am to 5 pm. I had to be creative and come up with different games and activities to keep the kids from being bored. There were other counselors there, I had to learn how to communicate with them when there was not only a problem between children but also when problems arose between counselors as well. This camp mainly helps families who struggle financially as well as kids who have disabilities.
