Responsible for the overall design and creative direction of projects to raise the level of design in app practice areas. Develop design talent, manage and communicate to design staff trends in the industry. Promote design innovation by researching new materials and developing details. Conceptualize individual desings that are specific to the client and project. Mentor, collaborate and support junior staff in the design vision and assure success of the team and project. Work in partnership with PM to control deliverables, manage cost, and fees, schedule and meet deadlines, and communicate these objectives to the team and manage client expectations. Drive overall project success on a well executed and profitable project. Prepare and lead presentations, conduct meetings with clients to sell designs and obtain approvals. Represent clients and communicate with vendors and trade partners. Contribute to other teams to ensure the success of Wolcott. Mentor and develop designers. Create positive changes and the design process, culture and the development of office design standards. Represent Wolcott in the Design/Vendor community. Develop relationships with clients and brokers. Attract new talent to the firm. Assists in pitching business as design lead with and without Principal involvement. Provide business development support as requested by the Principal in the office.

An exclusive collection of custom homes by Martha Stewart in partnership with KB Homes, built with the personal aesthetic of the Martha Stewart brand and the “The Martha Stewart Home Collection.” Projects included 9 model parks, 36 model homes and over 200 floor plans and elevations located in 7 states.• Executive Architecture Liaison – Supervised KB Homes architecture team to develop, review and refine floor plans, elevation detailing, and color / material selections.• Design & Construction Consultant – Coordinated the design and construction process nationally, oversaw operations to ensure consistency, and managed quality control of multiple model home parks in adherence to Martha Stewart living lifestyle and brand guidelines.• Interior Merchandising Specialist – Managed, prepared and distributed all visual merchandising materials to staff and external distribution channels. Transposed home designs, integrating 25+ Martha Stewart brands and corresponding trademark partnerships, including cabinetry and millwork to meet national standards.
