About Anthony Molinaro
Unless you're a theoretical statistician, every data scientist is part data engineer. This is a requirement imposed by the nature of applied work. While data engineers need not be data scientists, a firm foundation in mathematics along with domain specific business acumen is required to ensure decisions are business driven rather than technology driven.I have two decades of industry experience managing and extracting insights from large heterogeneous networks of complex data. I've spent half my career in data engineering and the other half in data science, having published in both fields.After two decades of engineering and analytics, I've turned my attention to team building, product ownership, and project management.In 2023 I joined VNS Health as the Director of Data Architecture Services.
