My research is aimed at olivine carbonation. Modeling, including thermodynamics and kinetics, and batch reactors are used to run experiments aimed at understanding how to constrain its kinetics for application as a means of carbon sequestration. The models used in PHREEQC, CrunchTope, and R give insight into the thermodynamics and kinetics of dissolution.
