I undertake teaching and curriculum development and support the Business School’s activities in Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Management. I carry out module leadership on both undergraduate and post graduate courses.I ensure my teaching is informed by contemporary research in the relevant fields and develop student ability to engage in debate, critical discourse, and rational thinking. Critical reflection on teaching practice and implementing improvements is core to my ethos.. I continuously disseminate good practice to others, and engage actively with the quality monitoring and enhancement processes. I ensure that students have an effective learning experience by providing high quality academic guidance and advice and by simultaneously enhancing student employability.

I conducted research exploring the experiences of BAME students and staff within USW. The data gathered will be contributed towards the UK Higher Education sector in light of the BAME attainment gap. The perspectives of BAME staff and students at USW will be collected qualitatively and analysed with results disseminated across a variety of platforms.

I am currently a consultant for the Premier League’s Leaderships and Workforce Development Team in 2 capacities. Firstly, I am the Programme Lead for the Premier League’s Future Academy Leaders programme. The purpose of this programme is to support Premier League and EFL Clubs with succession planning and diversity in Football academy leadership, and additionally by developing a programme that supports and prepares a diverse group of individuals for leadership positions within the football academy system. My role within the programme is to support, develop, and assist the programme and add the most amount of value for the future academy leaders as possible. Secondly, I deliver strategy workshops across several of the Premier League programmes including the Player to Executive Pathway Scheme (PEPS), Elite Academy Managers (EAM) programme, Academy Leaders (AL) programme, and the Future Academy Leaders (FAL) programme.

Jycey offers a variety of solutions including diversity diagnostics, audits, training, as well as tailored support for any potential diversity, equality, and inclusivity challenges. My duties and responsibilities as External Examiner in Business at the University of Wolverhampton include:• Approving draft examination papers and other significant components of assessed work, ensuring that they are set at an appropriate standard and accurately reflect the syllabus.• Ensuring that internal marking is consistent, by seeing a selection of scripts.• Contributing to the ratification of marks by the Subject Board of Examiners meeting; this will include, in exceptional circumstances, advising on any proposed scaling of marks at a cohort level.• Approving the final marks for the module(s).• Highlighting and encouraging good practice.• Delivering reports to Subject Board of Examiners and to the Head of Academic Affairs.

Welsh Rowing is the National Governing Body for rowing (on rivers, the sea and indoor) in Wales. Welsh Rowing is an incorporated body that works with Sport Wales to raise the awareness of, and participation, in rowing within Wales. Welsh Rowing is self-governing for rowing in Wales, but values a close working relationship with Welsh Sea Rowing Association and British Rowing.The Welsh Rowing Board’s role is to:Provide leadership and expertise in a specific area to the company within the framework of prudent and effective controls that enable risk to be assessed and managed.Set the vision of Welsh Rowing and strategic aims and ensuring that the necessary financial and human resources are in place for the company to meet its objectives, and review management performance.Set the Welsh Rowing values and standards and ensure that its obligations to the Welsh Rowing members and others are understood and met.

I obtain and am familiar with relevant course documents which give information related to the aims and operation of the course, including the syllabus, methods of assessment, preferred teaching methods, information needed by students, course dates and times.2. I liaise with members of the programme team, as appropriate, in order to understand requirements, coordinate plans and administrative actions and to discuss changes.3. I prepare effective course material which will fulfils the aims of the course, including enhancement of the learning experience through a student-centred approach.4. I attend and deliver sessions as agreed, lecturing, leading discussions and otherwise providing guidance and advice and promoting learning, as required.5. I prepare and mark, as required, any related written work, studio work, class work and examination papers, within the appropriate assessment procedures.6. I provide constructive and timely feedback to students on their progress.7. I keep records of assessment and attendance as the University requires.8. I ensure that the Programme Director/Leader and the class are informed of their absence, where this is unavoidable, as far in advance as possible.9. I provide, where appropriate, a course/work plan, set of objectives and reading lists for students.10. I attend meetings, induction and development sessions as required.

I provide extra-curricular sport provision throughout the City and South of Cardiff aiming to produce sustainable sport opportunities. This is implemented by working with key partners including High Schools, Primary Schools, Cardiff Youth Service, National Governing Bodies, Communities First, Neighbourhood Partnerships, Cardiff City Foundation, and many other sport providers. My role is extremely broad as managing budgets, project planning, mentoring, recruitment, and several other managerial strands are crucial for productivity. I also oversee the BME sport provision for Sport Cardiff spanning the city. A key aim of mine is to break down barriers regarding sports participation and promote equality. In addition to this I work closely with clubs and community groups enabling them to access funding including Sport Wales Community Chest and Development Grants, and several other funding streams.As part of the School of Sport at Cardiff Metropolitan University I also work closely with sport lecturers to supplement modules on a number of sport courses.

Sported is a charity and membership organisation, supporting over 3,000 community sport clubs and youth groups across the UK that deliver Sport for Development. These amazing groups use the power of sport to tackle the root causes of some society’s biggest problems – crime, anti-social behaviour and obesity, to name but a few. As a Sported volunteer I am proud to support the inspirational local heroes that run these organisations by providing free business and financial support so that they can become bigger, more sustainable and more effective.

Delivering sustainable sport opportunities throughout many regions within Cardiff.

I am a level 3 personal trainer and qualified sport and fitness lecturer. As well as over 14 years experience in the fitness industry I have also mentored many fitness instructors and guided them to completing their personal training awards.I am a family man who knows how difficult maintaining a healthy lifestyle can be as I was once unhealthy and overweight. I overcame this with hard work and dedication, and would like to help people on their journey to a life of fitness and well-being.I specialise in fat loss and building lean muscle and pride myself on making clients programmes as fun as possible. " I never do the same session with my clients twice. Keeping training programmes fresh and innovative is a good way of seeing the best results and keeping my clients on their toes".I am also the fitness coach for Semi-Professional Welsh league division one football club Caerau Ely.

I casually lectured within the sport department at Bridgend College. This role allowed me to support the Sport Development and Coaching L3 Extended Diploma course with relevant and current information from the sport industry.

I have previously worked as a lecturer at Cardiff and the Vale College on a casual contract. I taught on several sport courses including the BTEC National Diploma in Advanced sport and Sports Science. I also lectured on the level 2 circuit instructor, gym instructor, and level 3 personal trainer courses specialising in advanced training techniques.

In this employment I initially started as a 20 hour per week 5x60 Officer. During this role I provided extra-curricular physical activities to the school I was based in. Other duties included managing budgets for coaching staff, equipment, and various other outlets. I was also in charge of advertising activities around the school and collating data on participation levels.I then received a full-time promotion to become a Sport and Physical Activity Officer. In this role I over saw the extra-curricular activities for various primary schools, high schools, and community areas. I also worked closely alongside Sports Wales implementing new initiatives and funding projects for communities.

I created a Soccer School for young people of all communities in Cardiff specialising in group and one-to-one coaching.Operating from several Cardiff locations many young people were engaged in football related activities throughout Cardiff
