 Replacing piston rings, guide rings, rod packing and adjustment of TDC and BDC. Replacing main bearings and big end bearings. Refurbishment of suction and discharge valves & Renew of cylinder liner Worked on the unloaded device of compressor. Trouble shooting such as long interval between load and unload. Low lube oil pressure, PSV . belts breaking, cooling water pump fault, inter cooler and after cooler leakage. Removal and assembly of rotor bundle. Inspection of diaphragms, diffuser, thrust and radial bearings. Maintaining overlap and axial float between stages. Renewal of ‘O’ rings. Removal and reinstall journal bearings thrust bearing and thrust disc. Use of special tools for bundle removal / Installation. Having relevant experience in maintenance in all types of pumps such as centrifugal, . . reciprocating and rotary pumps. Obtaining a complete check list of the dismantled equipment and keep a record of the same. Inspect the condition of rotating parts namely shaft, sleeve, impeller, oil deflectors, wear rings, . bearings, coupling and stationary parts such as casing stuffing box, distance pieces and . bearing housing. Renewal of mechanical seals replacement of rotor checking wearing and throat bushes, . bearing clearances Hydro test of pumps to determine mechanical seal and casing leaks.
