Has gained experience in driving H-Piles to absolute refusal. Also has inspected many forms of runoff control, such as swells and combination piping. Worked closely with project manager to estimate quantities of materials including: concrete, fill material (both structural and suitable fill for toe bench), and asphalt pavement. Worked with contractor to carry out PennDOT specifications in the areas of traffic control and various hazardous waste removal. Inspected crucial components of project such as adjacent box beam placement and MSE wall construction.

Gained experience in testing concrete by carrying out checks such as: slump test, air content, void ratio and water/cement ratio. Tested road sub-base for settlement and inspected the site to ensure contractual obligations were met.

Worked on projects given to me by fellow coworkers; including working with DEP and OSHA regulations by monitoring the plant’s emissions, as well as updating the NPDES manual to bring the plant up to current regulations.Collected acidic seeps coming off of the site into the nearby Conemaugh River, and checked onsite piezometers to monitor the ground water level. Played a key role in helping the company save $20,000 between a combination of projects including analyzing the wooden structure of the cooling tower and noting necessary repairs.

Managed guest reservations and provided assistance in taking and modifying reservations.
