 Provide planning, zoning, and project permitting service to large corporate clients, including Wal-Mart Stores, Safeway Supermarkets, and Davis Nail Salons, JC Penny and Hertz Rent A Car in New England and Mid-Atlantic states. Manage multiple construction projects from startup to grand opening. Prevent construction delays by expediting process of attaining required permits (construction, sign, and ancillary) and final certificate of occupancy by involvement from onset of project and oversight of target dates and deadlines. Distribute building plans to fire, building, and health department inspectors for review, discussion, and approval. Serve as liaison to architect; handle questions and concerns. Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, owners, and developers throughout permit process. Navigate diverse local and state regulations and ensure compliance. Maintain open communications among all parties and resolve problems. Conduct weekly meetings with construction team to secure conditions of approval on proper schedule. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with existing clients and cultivate new business relations from referrals. Add value to projects by introducing sub-store concepts.
