Filing as per departmental procedure.Freight Forwarders are contacted to obtain estimates.Goods in shipping warehouse are checked against production check list.Obtain relevant documents from freight forwarders. (SAD 500, TRANSPORT DOCUMENTS, C.O.OUpdate the customers on there job/shipment.Export logbook updating daily.Job Purpose: Responsible for all task relating to the dispatch and Administration of export orders including preparation of documents, arranging Shipments and expediting orders and documents.

Plan freight movement of imported cargo.Coordinate the freight movement and customs clearance.Cost freight movement and prepare estimates.Arrange insurance cover and process claims.Process administration related to the shipment file.Effect creditors’ disbursements and process debtor’s invoices.Comply with the requirements of the quality management system.

• Invoice & Packing list & Costing.• Follow up on the Imports and Export via Air / Sea freight.• Giving clearing instructions for the Forward and clearing agents.• Open export files on shipping confirmation.• Processing clearing instructions.• Obtaining estimates for imports / Exports.• Requesting collections Via UPS/DHL Express.• Daily Spread sheet. (Import & Exports).• Requesting documents form the forwarding agent (BOL, COO, ISF etc.).• Assist with stock take.• Assist Logistic Manager.• Monitor shipments and maintain an up-to-date shipping calendar.• Complete costing sheets for each individual container.• Liaise with internal/external parties.• Capture Shipment onto Pastel.• Arrange cross boarder shipments.• Invoicing to Clients.• Arrange With transporters for Rigging of our Machinery. • Provide assistance with other activities as and when required.
