as a 52 year old suffering from cptsd due to childhood trauma I decided to have a go at keeping a journal.I started by writing about a nightmare that haunted me all through my childhood. As soon as I finished the piece a poem popped into my head which I wrote and I rather liked.Soon after my head was full of poems mainly about my pain but every now and then due to everything seemingly being a prompt I just went with the flow.it is now a year since my Awakening and I am loving the process of writing poetry. This has come as a bit of a culture shock to my friends and relatives as I never finished secondary education which I am sure shows in my work but none the less it is who I am.i have now penned about 400 poems and posted on social media sites gradually gaining followers.Poetry has always been my goto safety blanket during my life.Hopefully I can carve out some kind of career as this is foreign to me I have worked in many different roles from fishmonger,pleasure boat skipper,pilot boat coxwain a life predominantly spent at sea.My fbook page is Anthony scoble I am also on Instagram, Thread's and word press.com
