Flowserve is a multinational corporation and one of the largest suppliers of industrial and environmental mechanical seals and machinery. As an Applications Engineer, my day to day tasks include failure analysis of mechanical seals, making recommendations for equipment upgrades, and trouble shooting at customer sites.

Engineering Intern at Flowserve, operating out of both Temecula and Rancho Dominguez. In Temecula, my main project was with the Applied Technical Solutions team as the lead for the Dangote Seal Verification Project. Some tasks that I was responsible for in order to execute this project were inspection, assisting with seal installation and test procedure, as well as seal disassembly and analysis, face traces, re-assembly and shipping.At the Rancho Dominguez office, I worked within the pumps division, assisting on aftermarket change notices (ACNs). This documentation process includes reviewing technical information and converting drawings marked up in the shop into digital format.

Assist faculty members to execute exploratory and collaborative learning activities. Hold office hours and review sessions. Help students with research and class projects.
