Accountable for architecting and designing infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements in support of a given project or initiative. The Infrastructure Architect will be accountable for partnering with the Solution Architect to create infrastructure solutions that are aligned to UPS’s architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions, services, and processes, and meet the financial targets (cost and benefits). Within the systems development lifecycle, this role will be accountable for determining infrastructure requirements and early-phase project estimates which contribute to the business case, and high level design. They work with the individual infrastructure providers to spec out the appropriate infrastructure architecture to meet the solution needs.
