TX Communications was a Telecommunications company. I was employed to work on customer phone bill analysis to work out the best plan to put customers on in order to save them the most money. The bill analysis software was provided by Austar Communications. However I noticed the formulas used by Austar were faulty and I rebuilt all the formulas myself to get much more accurate bill analysis.
Furniture Man was a business that in some ways was ahead of it's time. We sold new contemporary furniture on the Internet and eBay. At the time there were very few companies doing this and it was relatively unheard of in Australia despite being popular in the US. After 5 years the decision was made to wrap it up despite being fairly successful.It is interesting to see now how many companies are selling furniture via the Internet.
