Having worked in senior roles for a number of leading technology businesses, predominantly backed by some of the largest PE organisations, I realised that success is all about having the right team in place with a mix of skills, qualities and characteristics, all linked with a passion to succeed. The teams I had the pleasure of working with and supporting through this journey all became adept at delivering significant business growth through a mix of organic and M&A activity. Leadership is about empowerment, whilst also having your fingers on the pulse, ensuring sufficient time is spent creating the right team with the characteristics and qualities that complement and a passion to make things happen. At the same time ensuring the environment is in place for everyone to succeed. I called it "moving the needle" People are always uppermost in my mind, as they remain the heart of any good business, which ethos i find has been lost in many organisations over the last decade or so. I now work with like minded organisations that support this ethos of Leadership, helping them to create the right team and environment that allows for exponential business growth whilst having fun.
