At Eutelsat OneWeb, I contributed to the systems modeling of a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite communication network. My role focused on developing simulation tools to accurately model key characteristics of the network. Some of my responsibilities included:- Modeling the power generation capabilities of OneWeb satellites.- Developing simulation tools to quantify the power demand of the satellite network, which involved analyzing telemetry data (using SQL), determining the Sun's orbit, and assessing global resource allocation across the network.- Assigning network supply and demand to specific regions worldwide, ensuring that these areas were effectively served by the satellite network.

The purpose of the Chimaero Project was the production of a fixed-wing delivery drone, with vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) capabilities. As a flight dynamics engineer, I had to mathematically model the flight characteristics of the vehicle and based on these predictions select the design parameters of the airplane. For the analysis, I mainly used MATLAB and Excel as tools for performing calculations, also Xfoil was used for evaluating the wing characteristics.
