-Determine whether corporate borrowers have breached covenants or conditions, and as a result, have defaulted on the terms of their credit agreements-Interpret credit agreements and other legal documents to determine which loan parties require monitoring in the bank’s system for future covenant compliance evaluation-Independently calculate cash flow and leverage ratios according to the terms laid out in the credit agreements-Provide recommendations to management and assist with the updating of bank procedures and processes -Determine the grid-based performance pricing that applies to the borrower, so the bank gets adequately compensated for credit risk-Train newer analysts so they may perform monitoring functions related to dealer commercial services and attorney-prepared credit agreements-Maintain subject matter expertise in various commercial lines of business such as Asset Based Lending (ABL), Real Estate Lending (REB), and Dealer Commercial Services (DCS)-Analyze borrowing base certificates used to update collateral values, which in turn allows borrowers to make advances on their lines of credit
