Never charged with any offence, locked up for 23.5 hrs aday in a low light underground interrogation 3x3 cell. Interrogation carried out by Taliban, brutal at times. Very basic Afghan food. Release negotiations conducted by FCDO with help and support from several other countries. This was a challenging, emotional and educational experience for all involved.
