    Organized the annual Students' Association Budgeting Process where over $2,400,000 are allocated to approximately 35 student organizations.Chaired the University Activity Fee and Budgeting Committee (UAFBC) that oversees the approximately $2.4 million in General Activity Fees (GAF).Led the UAFBC through a comprehensive review of our 12 peer institutions and three stretch peers to determine best practices and industry standard in regards to allocation of student fees. Upon compiling and organizing research, I was tasked with authoring a report to recommend changes in the way GAF dollars are allocated at South Dakota State University. This report was sent to, and endorsed by, the President of SDSU - Dr. David Chicoine.As a Senator, I served as the Board of Director for the College of Arts and Sciences where I was responsible in representing the college within that small group who is tasked with dealing with time senstive issues.I chaired the campus Parking and Traffic Committee where we underwent a complete look at the campus's current and future parking needs. These results where then taken and compared with the campus's long range master plan. I helped guide the committee through the process of lowering ticket prices from $50 to $35. I worked with the committee to create a parking rate structure which is more equitable.Sponsored legislation aimed at impacting the daily lives of students at SDSU. This included everything from improving campus Residential Life, students' relationship to the South Dakota Board of Regents, creating a campus bike sharing program, and working with the City of Brookings to implement city wide bike lanes.
