I was given the opportunity to intern with Corning Credit Union while I was taking Cisco Networking at BOCES during my junior year of high school. I was able to work with other students from my course while at CCU as a Teller. During the internship, I worked with members of staff to provide a professional transaction experience for members. During my training, I learned the differences between credit unions and banks. I also learned how to interact with members in a manner that provided them with a great experience while following company policy and procedure. This experience helped me develop an understanding of security policy and procedure. This knowledge is very useful in maintaining a safe and secure environment for members.
